The first of its kind, ProjectTurtle allows consumers to name their price for home improvement projects. Unlike the many find-a-contractor websites out there, we are completely free to browse, contact and interact with! The fact of the matter is most people know how much their willing to pay for a project and aren't afraid tell contractors. So giving buyers the option to name how much they will shell out for their own project was an obvious next step for the industry in our opinion. For buyers (Shellers, as we refer to them) to truly reap the benefits of name the price proposals, they should be flexible and open to various brands, products and construction schedules. This flexibility is what allows the contractors to reach some of the “in-the-dirt” Shellings we’ve seen. At ProjectTurtle, our mission is to save homeowners and contractors time and money by getting right to the point: “How much do you want to shell out?” However, if homeowners still want to do it the old-fashioned way, ProjectTurtle also allows them to put projects out for bid as well!
